Pastel class, Toledo Botanical Gardens, Spring 2005
Classes emphasize demonstrations, individual attention and lots of time to work on your own pictures with
guidance. For beginners, Paul demonstrates painting techniques & the students practice them at the same
time. This practical approach makes learning easy.

Oil, watercolor, acrylic, or pastel painting. Tuesdays 2 to 4 PM every week in May, June, early July and August. Class will .
You may join the class at any time. Composition, color mixing and basic drawing will be covered. Emphasis on individual
instruction. Request a supply list from Paul. Cost $20 per session, come when you can, pay only when you come.

                                Classes at the Toledo Museum of Art

                                            Painting with Watercolors

Explore watercolor’s beautiful and transparent qualities and learn the basic concepts of value, color mixing, and composition.
Eight Sundays starting September 13th, 1 to 4 PM. Emphasis on individual instruction and paint along demonstrations. Cost
to be set by museum.

Palette knife Acrylics (Completed)
Paint with palette knives for a bold, fresh spontaneous effect.
Thursday August 27th, 6 - 8:30 p.m. Cost $10.
