Paul and Renée are a father and daughter team who teach watercolor painting, composition and color glazing
at the Toledo Museum of Art, the Toledo Artists' Club and other sites in Northwest Ohio. Paul began his
intense interest in watercolor painting during a workshop with Ed Whitney in Kennebunkport in 1970, and he
and his family have been painting and vacationing in Maine frequently since then.
As teachers, Paul and Renée welcome novices, as well as more experienced painters, into their workshops.
They emphasize individual attention as well as "how to" demonstrations of all aspects of watercolor painting.
The class will meet for daily morning instruction at a site within walking distance of King's Port Inn, close to the
center of Kennebunkport and near good painting sites. Afternoons you may paint in Kennebunkport or other
nearby scenic locales, with Paul and Renée available for assistance. After dinner the group will meet in the
dining area at King's Port Inn for a critique of the day's work.
Tuition is $380; students provide their own supplies. A supply list will be sent to those who register.
